Dr. Armen’s Corner
When people hear “sports chiropractic,” they often think it’s only for competitive athletes. It’s not.
Sports chiropractic is really about Chiropractic PLUS more. It focuses on injury treatment with time tested techniques such Active Release Technique or modern tech such as shockwave but also on prevention and optimal movement patterns, assessment of compensations and more. It focuses on improving joint function, soft tissue health, stability, and mobility so you can perform better, whether that’s on the field, in the gym, or keeping up with your kids. In order to call oneself a sports Chiropractor, one must complete training for the CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Provider) which Dr. Armen completed in 2008.
Most injuries don’t happen overnight. They build up from small movement imbalances and compensations, limited mobility, and repetitive stress. Part of my job is to identify those weak links early and correct them before they become bigger problems.
At Active Spinal, we combine adjustments, soft tissue therapy like Active Release, shockwave when appropriate, and individualized corrective exercises. The goal isn’t temporary relief. It’s better movement, faster recovery, and long-term resilience.
You don’t need to be injured to benefit. If you want to move better, recover smarter, and stay active for life, sports chiropractic is designed for you.
In health and movement,
Dr. Armen
